Referrer & Cookie Guard – Additional protection against suspicious bot access
Referrer & Cookie Guard adds an extra layer of protection to BYB bot detection by checking cookie and referrer behavior.
The module can specifically block detected bots that do not send cookies while optionally respecting bots that have already been approved or verified. Legitimate applications and trusted access can be excluded from checking.
For a safe introduction, the module can first run in logging mode before active blocking is enabled.
Referrer & Cookie Guard enhances existing BYB protection with an additional check for suspicious access without performing its own bot detection.
